Devils Bridge Wales
Our site is located in a picturesque setting with wonderful views across the valley close to a village called “Ponterwyd”. Take a look at our feature picture. Do you fancy waking up with that view every morning?
The campsite is a certified member of the Caravan and Camping club. Being a member of this exclusive club you know that the site will be a quiet and pleasant retreat. With great road links we are in a perfect location to explore the great welsh country side. Major tourist attractions like the Devil’s Bridge Waterfalls being only five minutes drive and the wonderful market town of Aberystwyth. Whether you’re someone who wants to relax in a quiet and peaceful environment with a good book in hand or if you wish to to explore what Wales has to offer then you have found the ideal location. The site is suited to people regardless of your idea of fun.
With Aberystwyth only 20 minutes away, steeped with history and its famous pier where starlings gather in spectacular cloud ball formations at sunset. The town has everything you would need to stock up on your stay.
The town also has a funicular railway that carries you to a hilltop cafe with commanding views out to sea. Locally known as “Constitution Hill” built in the Victorian period by George Croydon Marks it was once powered by water weights that enabled the tilted carriages to glide gracefully up the hill. It has since been refurbished. It is defiantly worth a visit.
