The site is well marked out with various paths that would suit all walking abilities. The entrance to the site has a magnificent arch that was built to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of King George III by the local land owner Thomas Johnes in 1810.
The site has a picnic area so you can enjoy the countryside with your family. There are 3 main circular walks all clearly signposted with significant views across the Cambrian Mountains, the paths are well maintained by the forestry commission. There are also a number of Motorsport events held around this forest. Each year the Welsh Rally GB has a stage that is held around this location.
Being only 10 minutes from our site it is worth a visit for a walk.
